Three Basic Self-Hypnosis Exercises

I teach these exercises to all, or nearly all, of my clients, and suggest that they practice them regularly. Making these a part of your routine re-sets your neurology and helps create a calmer, more centered you. 

Below are the handouts I give my clients when I teach them these exercises.

The Zone
Do this exercise as you wake up and as you are about to go to sleep. During your day, take yourself into The Zone whenever you need a mental vacation or are about to start a new task or activity, to give yourself the edge of being in the moment. When you do, you will automatically feel better and become more effective in whatever you are doing.

This is a simple, easy self-hypnosis exercises that involves being aware simultaneously of everything coming in through your five sense.

Power Self
Your Power Self is a mental experience in which you move from where you are now to where you want to be. It is a fine-tuning of your mental self, equivalent to "Every day in every way I am getting better and better".
The power of the Power Self is that it enables you to make sweeping changes without wasting time on content. In other words, once you master this exercise, all you will have to do is to see yourself moving from where you are to where you wish to be while in The Zone. The key is to become centered in your being and concentrating on your Power Self at least once a day, for the last part of your 2 to 3 minute practice session.
